To strengthen our services we want to point to the FIDs closest connected to our fields and thus contribute to a reliable and lively network of knowledge and resources among scholars and librarians alike. Fachinformationsdienst Allgemeine und Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft

The FID Allgemeine und Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft, or avldigital, is based at the University Library Johann Christian Senckenberg in Frankfurt/Main and has been funded by the DFG since 2016.

Fachinformationsdienst Buch-, Bibliotheks und Informationswissenschaften

The FID for Book Studies, Library and Information Science is jointly based at the Herzog August Bibliothek in Wolfenbüttel (HAB)Leipzig University Library (UBL), and the Institute for Library and Information Science at Humboldt University in Berlin (IBI). The FID BBI has been funded by the DFG since 2017.

Fachinformationsdienst Darstellende Kunst

The FID Performing Arts is based at the University Library Johann Christian Senckenberg in Frankfurt/Main and has been working for their research communities since 2015. 

Fachinformationsdienst Geschichtswissenschaft

The FID Geschichtswissenschaft, or historicum.net, responsible for the field of history since the early medieval period, is based at the Bavarian State Library as well as the Deutsche Museum in Münich and has been working for its research community since 2016. Historicum.net is an official partner of the FID AAC.

Fachinformationsdienst Lateinamerika, Karibik und Latino Studies

The FID Lateinamerika, Karibik und Latino Studies is based at the Ibero-American Instiute of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (IAI) in Berlin and has been awarded its second funding phase by the DFG in October 2020. 

Fachinformationsdienst für die Medien-, Kommunikations- und Filmwissenschaft

The FID für die Kommunikations-, Medien- und Filmwissenschaft, or adlr.link, is based at the University Library in Leipzig and has been working in service of their research community since 2014. 

Fachinformationsdienst Romanistik

The FID Romanistik is based at the Bonn University and State Library and the State and University Library Hamburg and has been working for its research communities since 2016.
